The Bank of America Charitable Foundation works to advance pathways to economic mobility in order to build thriving communities. The Foundation’s Economic Mobility Focused on the Needs of Individuals and Families category provides support for workforce development, education, and basic needs. It partners with organizations addressing the economic and social conditions that affect an individual’s health, access to community-based health services, crisis-prevention tied to family stabilization programs, and other poverty related issues. The Foundation also builds pathways to employment by supporting a range of workforce development and educational opportunities that will help vulnerable individuals and families stabilize and advance.

Andrus Family Fund’s Visionary Freedom Fund
This fund seeks to ensure that Black, Brown, and Indigenous (BIPOC) youth impacted by the youth justice system on the frontlines have the resources, capacities, infrastructure, and relationships they need to develop and implement inspiring long-term, visionary change in their communities. Grants ranging from $25,000 to $100,000 will support organizations where leadership is impacted by the carceral state, criminal legal system, and/or systems of criminalization. Applying organizations must have young people in decision-making leadership roles. General operating grants are provided, with an emphasis on funding for organizations that are often left out of traditional philanthropic giving.

Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention’s Reducing Risk for Girls in the Juvenile Justice System
The goal of this program is to reduce risk factors and promote protective factors for girls who come in contact with the juvenile justice system, and place them on a path toward success, stability, and long-term contribution to society. This program will increase protective factors to prevent further delinquent behavior by girls involved in funded programs, and to improve juvenile justice system responses for girls in contact with the system.

Weyerhaeuser Family Foundation’s Children’s Initiative
The Weyerhaeuser Family Foundation's Children's Initiative provides support to direct service programs throughout the United States that promote resilience, stability, and pyscho-social health for youth ages 14 to 21 who have been traumatized by Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Eligible programs must directly serve youth who have been significantly traumatized by ACEs, offer age-appropriate therapeutic interventions, provide services that go beyond crisis intervention, include a plan for evaluating program effectiveness, enhance the relationship between the child and at least one significant adult, be a new program or a new therapeutic component to an existing program, and use trauma informed practices. The average grant size is $30,000 or less. The deadline for Stage One Applications is March 1, 2021; invited Stage Two Applications will be due by August 1, 2021.

Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention’s Supporting Effective Interventions for Adolescent Sex Offenders and Children with Sexual Behavior Problems
This solicitation provides funding to develop intervention and supervision services for adolescent sex offenders and children with sexual behavior problems, and to provide treatment services for their victims and families/caregivers. The goal of this program is to prevent sexual reoffending by adolescent sex offenders and problematic sexual behavior in children. This program iImproves family and system response to incidents of adolescent sex offenses and problematic sexual behavior in children, as well as increases protective factors in targeted youth to prevent sexual reoffending or continued problematic sexual behavior.

Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention’s Multistate Mentoring Programs Initiative
This program supports the implementation and delivery of mentoring services to youth populations that are at risk for juvenile delinquency and juvenile justice system involvement. Mentoring services can be one-on-one, group, peer, or a combination of these types. Funding can be used to support new mentoring matches or continue existing mentoring matches at the time of application. This program has two categories of funding: Category 1 Funding is for mentoring organizations that have operated an established mentoring program for at least 3 years and have active chapters or subawardees in at least 5 states but fewer than 45 states. Category 2 Funding is for mentoring organizations that have operated an established mentoring program for at least 3 years and have active chapters or subawardees in 4 or fewer states.

Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention’s National Mentoring Program
This solicitation provides funding for applicant organizations to enhance and expand mentoring services for children and youth. This program supports the implementation and delivery of mentoring services to youth populations that are at risk for juvenile delinquency, victimization, and juvenile justice system involvement. Mentoring services can be one-on-one, group, peer, or a combination of these types. Eligible applicants are national organizations, defined as organizations that have active chapters or subawardees in at least 45 states.

Office on Violence Against Women’s Services for Minor Victims of Labor Trafficking
The purpose of this program is to develop, expand, or strengthen victim service programs for minor victims of labor trafficking, whose victimization occurred when they were under the age of 18. Organizations funded under this program will provide (directly and through partnerships) services that minor victims of labor trafficking often require to address their needs for safety, security, and healing. They will also be expected to integrate into their programming developmentally appropriate and evidence-based practices. While this program is focused on providing services to minor victims of labor trafficking, organizations should be aware that these victims could have also been exploited in sex trafficking. Applicants should address how they would respond to the needs of victims who are subjected to both sex trafficking and labor trafficking.

Office of Victims of Crime’s Preventing Trafficking of Girls
This solicitation provides funding for organizations to support prevention and early intervention programs for girls who are at risk of, or are victims of, sex trafficking. The objectives of this program include the following:

1. Replicate and scale-up prevention and early intervention programs for girls who are at risk of, or are victims of, sex trafficking that have undergone rigorous evaluation and/or have a track record of success. Program models should include a plan to develop services and interventions for high-risk girls, including those with a history of trauma caused by physical and sexual abuse, commercial sexual exploitation, and domestic minor sex trafficking.
2. Implement or enhance efforts to identify and provide services to girls who are at risk of, or are victims of, sexual exploitation or sex trafficking. This may include street outreach efforts, partnerships with organizations that serve the youth community, and/or collaboration with key stakeholders in the community.
3. Participate in an annual peer-to-peer learning (cluster meeting) opportunity hosted by the OVC-funded training and technical assistance provider.

Office on Violence Against Women’s Housing Assistance Grants for Victims of Human Trafficking
This program will provide funding for housing opportunities to victims of human trafficking. Funding supports programs that provide 6 to 24 months of transitional housing with support services to victims of human trafficking who are in need of housing as a result of human trafficking. Transitional housing refers to both transitional housing assistance and short-term
housing assistance. Projects under this program must be for one or more of the following purposes:

1. Transitional housing, including funding for the operating expenses of a newly developed or existing transitional housing program. 
2. Short-term housing assistance, including rental or utilities payment assistance and assistance with related expenses, such as payment of security deposits and other costs incidental to relocation to transitional housing.

In addition to providing transitional housing, projects must also include support services designed to enable victims of human trafficking and any dependents to: 

1. locate and secure permanent housing; 
2. secure employment, including obtaining employment counseling, occupational training, job retention counseling, and counseling concerning re-entry into the workforce; and 
3. integrate into a community by providing victims and dependents with services, such as transportation, counseling, childcare services, case management, and other assistance. Participation in support services shall be voluntary.

Office for Victims of Crime’s Services for Victims of Human Trafficking
The purpose of this program is to develop, expand, or strengthen victim service programs for victims of human trafficking. Applicants are invited to apply under three purpose areas.

• Purpose Area 1: Developing Capacity to Serve Human Trafficking Victims: The purpose of these awards is to support victim services organizations that have limited or no prior experience in serving victims of human trafficking and/or victim services organizations that have limited or no prior experience in receiving federal funding to serve victims of human trafficking.
• Purpose Area 2: Enhancing Scope of Services for Human Trafficking Victims: The purpose of these awards is to enhance the scope of services offered by the organization (directly or through partnerships) that victims of labor and sex trafficking often require to address their needs.
• Purpose Area 3: Specialized Services for Human Trafficking Victims: The goal is to increase the quality and quantity of the specialized service to assist victims of all forms of human trafficking.

Office on Violence Against Women’s Rural Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking Program
This funding supports efforts to enhance the safety of rural victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking and supports projects uniquely designed to address and prevent these crimes in rural areas. Funds must be used for one or more of the following purposes: 

• To identify, assess, and appropriately respond to child, youth, and adult victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking in rural communities. examiners;
• To establish and expand nonprofit, nongovernmental, State, tribal, territorial, and local government victim services in rural communities to child, youth, and adult victims; and
• To increase the safety and well-being of women and children in rural communities.

Office on Violence Against Women’s Transitional Housing Assistance Grants for Victims of Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking
This grant supports programs that provide 6-24 months of transitional housing with
support services for victims who are homeless or in need of transitional housing as a result of a situation of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault or stalking; and whom emergency shelter services or other crisis intervention services are unavailable or insufficient. Programs must be used for one or more of the following purposes: 1) transitional housing; 2) short-term housing assistance; and 3) support services designed to enable a minor, an adult, or a dependent of such minor or adult, who is fleeing a situation of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking to, (a) locate and secure permanent housing; (b) secure employment, including obtaining employment counseling, occupational training, job retention counseling, and counseling concerning re-entry into the workforce; and (c) integrate into a community by providing that minor, adult, or dependent with services, such as transportation, counseling, child care services, case management, and other assistance.

Office on Violence Against Women’s Sexual Assault Services Culturally Specific Program
This program supports nonprofit organizations that focus primarily on culturally specific communities and have experience in the area of sexual assault or who partner with an organization having such expertise. The goal of the SAS Culturally Specific Program is to establish, maintain, and expand sustainable, culturally appropriate services that address the unique needs and challenges of victims of sexual assault from culturally specific communities.

Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention’s Mentoring for Youth Affected by the Opioid Crisis and Drug Addiction
This program supports the implementation and delivery of mentoring services to youth who are currently abusing or addicted to drugs, youth at risk for abusing drugs, and youth with family members who are currently abusing or addicted to drugs. Mentoring services can be one-to-one, group, peer, or a combination. Funding can be used to support new mentoring matches or continue existing mentoring matches at the time of application. There two categories of funding under this program: Category 1: Project Sites and Category 2: Statewide and Regional Mentoring Strategies.

Office on Violence Against Women’s Tribal Sexual Assault Services
This funding supports efforts to create, maintain, and expand sustainable sexual assault services provided by Tribes, tribal organizations, and nonprofit tribal organizations within Indian country and Alaska Native villages. Funding supports projects that provide intervention, advocacy, accompaniment (e.g., accompanying victims to court, medical facilities, or police departments), support services, and related assistance for adult, youth, and child victims of sexual assault, non-offending family and household members of victims, and those collaterally affected by the sexual assault.

Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention’s Strategies to Support Children Exposed to Violence
This solicitation provides funding for communities to develop and provide support services for children exposed to violence. There are two categories of funding available under this solicitation: Category 1: Project Sites. Funding under this category can be used to develop support services for children exposed to violence in their homes, schools, and communities; and to develop, enhance, and implement violent crime reduction strategies that focus on violent juvenile offenders. Category 2: Training and Technical Assistance. In addition to supporting program implementation and direct service activities, the initiative will fund a training and technical assistance provider to support the Category 1 project sites.

Office on Violence Against Women’s Grants to Prevent and Respond to Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking Against Children and Youth Program
This funding supports comprehensive, community-based efforts to develop or expand prevention, intervention, treatment, and response strategies to address the needs of children and youth impacted by domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Funds under this program must be used for one of the following purposes. Applicants may select only one purpose area.

• Services and Training to Address Children Exposed to Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking (within ages 0-10). 
• Creating Safer Communities for Youth: Prevention, Intervention, Treatment, and Response Services for Youth Impacted by Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking (within ages 11-24).
• Providing School-Based Services: Prevention, Intervention, and Response to Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking (within ages 5-19).

Office on Violence Against Women’s Grants to Engage Men and Boys as Allies in the Prevention of Violence Against Women and Girls
This funding supports projects that create educational programming and community organizing to encourage men and boys to work as allies with women and girls to prevent domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Funds under this program must be used to develop and/or implement strategies that engage and mobilize men and boys at individual, group, relational, and societal levels to prevent domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking, through one or more of the following purposes:

• Develop and/or implement programming to recruit and train men and boys to serve as role models, positive influencers, change agents, and/or mentors to address and prevent domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking.
• Integrate education on domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking (the four VAWA crimes) into established support and/or enrichment programs (e.g., mentoring, youth services, sports, fraternal, faith-based, fatherhood, re-entry, and educational programs) to assist men and/or boys in developing healthy relationships, challenging social norms that support violence against women and girls, becoming active bystanders, and understanding the intersection of the four VAWA crimes and other types of related violence (e.g., gang initiation, gun violence). 
• Develop and implement a train-the-trainer program for community organizations or programs, and/or governmental agencies or programs, to incorporate education and/or training into their existing work with male clients to prevent violence against women and girls.

Office on Violence Against Women’s Grants to Enhance Culturally Specific Services for Victims of Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking Program
This funding supports the maintenance and replication of existing successful community-based programs providing culturally specific services to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking, as well as the development of innovative culturally specific strategies to enhance access to services and resources for victims who face obstacles to using more traditional programs. Funds under this program must be used for one or more of the following purposes:

• Working with State and local governments and social service agencies to develop and enhance effective strategies to provide culturally specific services to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. 
• Increasing communities’ capacity to provide culturally specific resources and support for victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking crimes and their families. 
• Strengthening criminal justice interventions, by providing training for law enforcement, prosecution, courts, probation, and correctional facilities on culturally specific responses to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
• Enhancing traditional services to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking through the leadership of culturally specific programs offering services to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
• Working in cooperation with the community to develop education and prevention strategies highlighting culturally specific issues and resources regarding victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. 
• Providing culturally specific programs for children exposed to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. 
• Providing culturally specific resources and services that address the safety, economic, housing, and workplace needs of victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking, including emergency assistance. 
• Examining the dynamics of culture and its impact on victimization and healing.

Office on Violence Against Women’s Grants for Outreach and Services to Underserved Populations
This program is authorized to develop and implement outreach strategies targeted at, and provide victim services to, adult or youth victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking in underserved populations. Survivors from underserved populations face challenges in accessing comprehensive and effective victim services that are accessible, culturally relevant, and responsive. As a result, survivors from underserved communities often do not receive appropriate services. The Underserved Program supports projects that address these gaps. Funds may be used to: develop or enhance population specific victim services; develop or enhance outreach strategies to reach underserved survivors; build the capacity of population specific organizations to serve survivors of these crimes; build the capacity of victim service providers to provide victim services that are population specific; train and educate community partners and the criminal justice system on the needs of survivors from underserved populations; and develop culturally and linguistically appropriate materials for underserved survivors.

Solidaire
Solidaire is a community of donor organizers who mobilize quickly to get critical resources to the frontlines of social justice movements throughout the U.S. Solidaire is currently offering the following grant programs: 

• The Black Liberation Pooled Fund supports both long-term movement partners working towards Black Liberation and smaller, start-up organizations who are rounding out the broader ecosystem of Black-led movement building. The application deadline is February 26, 2021. 
• The Movement Infrastructure Fund supports efforts that are led by those most impacted by injustice, with a focus on disrupting extractive, exploitative, and oppressive systems. The application deadline is April 23, 2021. 
• Solidaire's Janisha R. Gabriel Movement Protection Fund provides urgently needed support to grassroots organizers and movement organizations in response to the increased threats resulting from white supremacist violence. Requests for this program are reviewed as received.
