Carolyn Watson Rural Oklahoma Community Foundation
The Carolyn Watson Rural Oklahoma Community Foundation was established in 1995 to improve the quality of life in designated rural Oklahoma communities. To that end, the foundation is inviting applications for its Community Grants program, which will award grants to organizations in support of new or a significant expansion of a current effort that will positively impact the community in the areas of arts, culture, history, libraries, literacy, and health in communities with a population of less than 6,000 (as of the 2016 U.S. Census) within the Oklahoma counties of Adair, Atoka, Bryan, Cherokee, Choctaw, Coal, Haskell, Johnston, Latimer, McCurtain, McIntosh, Okfuskee, and Pushmataha.

Supporting Coloradans in Recovery Through Non-Clinical Programs
The Colorado Health Foundation is inviting applications to its Supporting Coloradans in Recovery Through Non-Clinical Programs funding opportunity, which will support individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges in accessing non-clinical support services close to home that will make recovery possible. The foundation is interested in strengthening non-clinical recovery support programs that focus on the community and purpose dimensions of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA's) model of recovery. Proposals must provide non-clinical programs that fall under SAMHSA's purpose and/or community dimensions of recovery:

  • Purpose: Conducting meaningful daily activities such as employment, education, volunteering along with having the independence, income, and resources to participate in society.
  • Community: Having relationships and social networks that provide support, friendship, love, and hope.

Omaha Community Foundation
The Omaha Community Foundation is inviting 2022 applications for its community interest fund program, which works to connect and support on-the-ground organizations and provide technical assistance and training where needed through a grassroots approach to addressing local priorities, practicing, and growing active citizenship, and building community. Five resident-led grantmaking programs include:

  • African-American Unity Fund
  • LGBTQIA2S+ Equality Fund
  • Futuro Latino Fund
  • Omaha Neighborhood Grants
  • Refugee Community Grant Fund
